This body of work is in progress…developed as a throwback to a simpler time. This is a culmination of vintage imagery + black and white photos as reimagined into bright multi-layered, somewhat distorted & almost dream like glimpses at the days before phones, computers and other technologies effectively put an end to groups of kids & the otherwise young at heart who would socialize and gather outside on the block. Seen here on big wheels, trikes, bikes, skates, skateboards, box car racing and roller boogie-ing their way around or sometimes just a momentary still frame from a traditional camera that captured an unexpected, unfiltered & unapologetic glance from real moments and the beauty of raw emotion.
