Abstract

Textural elements, vibrant colors, energetic brush strokes and somewhat chaotic palette knife or oil stick markings as key identifiers of my artistic style. There is a visual tension and tactile distinction to my work. I lean into multilayering processes using a variety of methods and materials to incorporate under-paintings from which all work comes to fruition.

I take great joy in finding unexpected beauty + highlighting imperfections.

As in all my work, both figurative and abstract alike, textures and multilayering are key.
