In it, the speculative, the hallucinatory, and the imaginary. The inspiration on this comes from a lifetime appreciation of the literary genius who channeled his energy and insights into landmark works to revolutionize the art of journalism.

Williams as a dancer from a Tupac video, as Omar from 'The Wire', Chalky White from Boardwalk Empire or as a neighbor constantly giving back to the community he loved along with his Brooklyn roots. Amazingly talented. Openly battling and struggling with addiction. He was a true prince among men. Gone too soon. This piece was done as a tribute before the one year anniversary of his passing, would have loved to have gotten this done when he was still with us.

A POP Art homage to Lichtenstein using the famous comic book images in juxtaposition to one another in an otherworldly abstract place highlighted by the abstract background. The quote on the piece is taken from the book The Midnight Library by Matt Haig ; an inspiring look at the magic of the lives we live and the visual connection was made.
