'Rust' is Part of a 'color study' that I began working over the summer of '22. Not long after attending the Hamptons Fine Art Fair. My inspiration comes from a wide variety of large abstract works and taking in a wide variety of art and discovering new artists over a short period of time. My creative juices had already been flowing and greatly influenced by the numerous works from various artists showing at the Whitney Biennial 2022.

Dedicated to all the beautiful creative, incredibly talented women especially women of color who are successful entrepreneurs with the grit to envision their future through fierce determination, spirit & energy. Amazing. The juxtaposition of her gazing out sets her apart as if dreaming of setting her goals high and breaking boundaries. She knows her roots and that she is capable of greatness the world is yet to see.
